For thirty years D&A Granulation has handled the production work other companies don't want to set up in-house. Customers send us their raw materials and the batch they need. We bring the equipment, the experience, and the documented quality controls to deliver it.

D&A is led by President Ashish Kulkarni. Tyson D. Pritchard, who started the company in 1996 and has processed more than a thousand materials across chemicals, foods, nutritionals, pharmaceuticals, and plastic additives, now advises the team on technical work. The facility

D&A operates a 20,000 sq ft plant with seven processing rooms in Lakewood, NJ. Three rooms are dedicated to the processing of nutritionals, foods, and excipients. The remaining four handle chemicals, plastic additives, and industrial materials. Separating the work physically prevents cross-contamination between regulated food-grade work and industrial chemistry.

Quality and certifications

D&A holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Every customer batch is documented under the quality management system. Particle size distribution is checked against the customer's spec, particle size is verified on sieve screens, bulk density is tested on the finished product, and all packaging is weighed on calibrated digital scales.

How a project works

1. You send a description of your material and batch volume.
2. Our team reviews feasibility against current equipment and capacity, then comes back with a process recommendation and a quote.
3. Once approved, raw material ships in. D&A processes, verifies to spec, packages to your format, and ships finished product back to you.
4. Every batch is documented under our ISO 9001 system; sieve and bulk density results are available on request.
